This A-Frame davit is a module deck mounted davit that comes with a base frame, davit arm, cylinders, winch and hydraulic power pack unit. The system is suitable for launching a fully manned rescue boat against unfavourable conditions of trim up to 10 degrees and a list of up to 20 degrees. Pivoting out the fully manned rescue boat from its stowed position into launch position is carried out by accumulated power obtained from a self-containing hydraulic power pack unit.
